So we all know that my favourite tipple is Gin right? I've cooked with it, visited a number of distilleries and of course quaff it on a regular basis. Mostly it's with a good quality tonic (plus the appropriate perfect serve garnish) but I'm also rather partial to a carefully crafted gin based cocktail. In order to celebrate World Gin Day which in 2017 falls on Saturday 10th June I've collated 25 fantastic Gin based cocktails from some of my blogging colleagues. I'm also sharing a new juniper infused creation of my own whilst jumping on the bandwagon that is vegetable based cocktails - it's my new favourite way to help towards 5-a-day.

25. Peter Rabbits Red Snapper - get the recipe below...

Peter Rabbit Red Snapper
A gin variation on a Bloody Mary with added Carrots. With apologies to Beatrix Potter and Mr McGregor.

300ml Spiced Tomato Juice
50g Frozen Baby Carrots (no need to defrost!)
35ml Gin
Ice, frozen baby carrots and celery to garnish

Blitz together the spiced tomato juice and frozen baby carrots in a blender until smooth.
Add the Gin and stir well to combine.
Pour into a tall glass, add the garnish, serve and enjoy!
